About Me
Hello, and welcome to Your Guide to Wandering!
I’m Sierra! I call myself an avid traveler, hiker, explorer, budget hacker and culture lover!
I’m based in the U.S. and balancing a full-time job with my passion for traveling. I’ve lived around U.S. and northern Europe and have traveled to over 20 countries!
Why I blog:
I understand the frustration of having a passion for travel but having little available vacation time or budget to do so. I’ve been a broke grad school student, and later a working professional with only a few weeks of Paid Time Off, and I’ve learned how to maximize my trips and wallet.
While we would all love to lounge around in Bali for a few months like an Instagram influencer, for many of us that is not our reality. Let me show you that it is possible to travel on a limited vacation day schedule and small budget. We don’t have to be full-time travelers with luxurious budgets to explore new cultures or places.
Life begins at the end of our comfort zone- let me be your guide to wandering!
